As part of being a Communication major at Brigham Young University - Idaho, I was require to take to clusters of classes to complement my major. I chose a cluster titled Web Design. This section of the site details what I have done to complete that cluster. The section also focuses on what I have done as a Communication major.
CIT 230
CIT 230 is a class offered by the Computer Information Technology department titled Web Fundamentals. According to the academic catalog, "This course prepares students to develop web sites through a study of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML5), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Usability principles and User Interface (UI) principles."

COMM 310
COMM 310 is a class offered by the Communication department titled Creating Online Media. According to the academic catalog, "Technical introduction to search-engine optimized and standards-based web design and production. Training in semantic HTML markup, CSS-based design and dynamic PHP scripting; overview of the history, current status and future possibilities of HTML."
